Education
Education shapes how people see themselves and what's possible. Whether it's a student navigating complex systems of support, a teacher reimagining their practice, or a community redefining what engagement actually means — the stakes are deeply personal.
We partner with departments of education, universities, foundations, and schools to understand what's really happening for learners. Our work ranges from evaluating national education policies and researching early childhood information needs to uncovering what keeps young people engaged in school.
Our approach
We work across the full arc of education — from policy to classroom
Evaluation & policy research
We help education departments understand whether programs are working and why. From evaluating quality teaching frameworks to researching innovation enablers inside federal agencies, we bring rigorous qualitative methods to questions that numbers alone can't answer.
Learner experience research
We listen to students, parents, teachers, and communities to understand what's actually happening in education settings. Our research has uncovered how families navigate early childhood choices, what keeps disengaged young people connected, and how schools can become places of genuine opportunity.
Capability building
We build research and design capability inside education organisations so the work continues after we leave. From coaching teams in qualitative methods to developing co-design playbooks, we help organisations become more responsive to the people they serve.
