Mental Health

Mental health and wellbeing is woven throughout all of society and cannot be approached in isolation. We are proud to be one of many contributors in this important space.

We recognise the complexity of mental ill health and that there isn’t a single solution. We create impact by working in partnership with organisations to understand and respond to people’s needs, create new perspectives and identify opportunities to act.

Beyond Blue

Co-designing an urgent response to mental health and wellbeing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic

We partnered with Beyond Blue and people with lived experience of mental health challenges to explore the impact of COVID-19 and co-design initiatives to respond. Together we sought to transform the ways Beyond Blue delivers services, support, advice and information during COVID-19 and beyond.

Our approach

Our approach deeply respects the diversity of mental health experiences in our communities and the intersections with other areas such as employment, housing, education and justice.

We seek to bring our skills in research, co-design, systems mapping and prototyping to understand these complex relationships and support organisations and the sector to achieve better mental health outcomes for everyone.

What we do

We partner with organisations and people

We partner with organisations, clinicians, academics and people with lived experiences to bring together diverse knowledge and skills. We bring our expertise in listening, sense making, collaboration and visualisation to build shared understanding, create new perspectives, identify opportunities and create lasting relationships and outcomes.

We apply our deep experience within the mental health sector

Our knowledge and experience working in the sector enables us to bring our mental health literacy, reflective practice, bespoke tools and experience into every project.

We take a holistic approach to mental health

We are committed to contributing thought leadership, learnings from our projects and practical tools to increase our impact and mobilise an entire community to take action.

We also make sure we incorporate mental health perspectives into all of our projects, regardless of the sector we’re working in.
