Steph Mellor

Steph is a human-centred design leader with over 15 years of project management and service delivery experience. She specialises in strategy, design research, service design, organisational and cultural change, and stakeholder engagement and communication. She has worked across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for government agencies and private industry.

As our Business Development Manager, Steph oversees our business development practice — identifying opportunities that fit our mission and values, and enabling us to respond swiftly to client needs. She uses her experience and knowledge to power good people and organisations to take up as much space as possible.

Steph’s strengths lie in her ability to understand people and connect them to the things that they need to succeed. Her intuitive grasp of what's required for a healthy and competitive organisation, coupled with her professional experience and human-centred approach to leadership, allow her to shift gears quickly, from strategic planning to directing research to harnessing teams.

Steph has a Bachelor of Arts specialising in Sociology and Linguistics, and a Bachelor of Computer Science. A freelance coach and former long-term lead instructor with General Assembly, she has extensive experience in teaching, mentoring, facilitation and leadership.
