You can help green your city

Your quest, should you choose to accept it...

London is on a quest to become a national park city.

Hundreds of people are doing their bit to improve the welfare of themselves, their communities and local wildlife.

People pledge to do the simple but effective things on offer, such as:

  • Help pollinators by filling your balcony or garden with as many different plants as possible

  • Listen to birds ([Top 40 Australian bird calls (http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/birds/featured/Top-40-Bird-Songs "website link"))

  • Give slugs a chance

For Australia, the cooling effect of urban greenery is probably even more important, and most of these tips apply to us as well. Small steps to big change – give ‘em a chance (slugs n all).

We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live and work, and to the traditional custodians of the lands and waters which we may visit upon in our work. We acknowledge their elders past and present. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was, and always will be Aboriginal land.
