PG #22: What makes good research?

Planning, participation and time.
These are important ingredients of good research, and each of them can be hard to argue for or execute on in commercial settings. Which is why, this fortnight, we've giving you some examples.
We show how a workplace study into missing teaspoons is a great example of longitudinal research. We learn about a method for giving research power over to participants, by asking them to show us what's important. Finally, a new manifesto about the knowledge economy from influential philosopher of science, Isabelle Stengers, argues for slowing down your sense-making.
