About
Bridget Kelly
Principal Research and Data
Bridget is a critical thinker and holistic human-centred researcher and designer with over a decade of experience in collecting and distilling qualitative and quantitative research. Her work is underpinned by a belief that data is most potent when told through stories that help us know our place in the world, connect us and empower us to navigate change together.
Bridget has strong experience in customer experience (CX) research which she sees as the link between design, strategy and brand. She embraces complexity and overlapping narratives to understand the ways in which people need governments and companies to show up for them, whether they are accessing services at vulnerable moments or simply buying products.
Bridget has worked with government, health and commercial clients nationally and internationally. Her past clients have included the National Bushfire Recovery Program, Family Safety Victoria, Aboriginal Victoria, Medibank, AHM Insurance, Telstra, Virgin Australia, Velocity, and Mazda.
Bridget is completing her PhD at the University of Melbourne, using the stars to uncover how humans have created a universal sense of meaning across time, cultures and languages. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science, and certifications in entrepreneurial studies, brand strategy planning and human-centred design.
Bridget is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne and has been a guest speaker at CSIRO, speaking on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander astronomy. She is a long-term volunteer, lending her data skills to organisations that advocate for conservation and environmental protection.
