Paper Giant Acquires Impacto Consulting to Strengthen Social Impact Capabilities

Paper Giant, a strategic design consultancy that helps organisations understand and solve complex problems, today announced the acquisition of Impacto Consulting, specialists in innovation for the social sector.
The acquisition unites two Melbourne-based consultancies with complementary expertise in human-centred design and social innovation. Paper Giant, based in Melbourne, will integrate Impacto's specialised capabilities in health, aged care and disability service innovation.
"This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful impact across the social sector," said Dr. Chris Marmo, CEO of Paper Giant. "Impacto's proven track record in co-design and innovation perfectly complements our strategic design approach."
Dan Bentley and Tracey Newman, Co-founders of Impacto Consulting, will support the transition of clients to Paper Giant's expanded service offering.
"We're excited that our clients will benefit from Paper Giant's broader capabilities, particularly their growing technical and digital transformation expertise," said Bentley. "Their commitment to creating positive social change, combined with strong research, design and technology capabilities, aligns perfectly with the mission we've pursued at Impacto."
The acquisition enhances Paper Giant's position as a leading partner for organisations tackling complex social challenges. Clients will gain access to an expanded toolkit combining service design, customer experience, design research, and strategic thinking with Impacto's expertise in embedding collaboration and innovation into organisations.
Paper Giant will continue operating from its existing offices while maintaining its commitment to human-centred design and creating work that matters for communities across Australia.
